Spring Shines Upon Me, 48×60″

Spring Shines Upon Me is inspired by the intense growing season of spring flowers. I imagined walking barefoot through this field with the sun shining and a cool breeze blowing feeling grateful and in awe of the beauty of the earth. I worked for a summer in Jackson Hole, Wyoming when I was 20 years old for the national park. My memories of the wildflowers in bloom there have never faded. Also, I spent some time in Chelsea, Vermont one summer a few years ago. There were endless fields of wild flowers. These happy memories weaved there way into this painting.
