Herons in the Mist 36×48

Herons in the Mist was inspired by a boat trip on the Apalachicola River. All around us birds sang. The mist was heavy rising up from the water. The sun broke through and we saw a small green island, like a fairy mound. Four great blue herons were stretching their legs momentarily. I was captivated by their grace and beauty.
