I came home from Vermont and Maine really inspired to paint! The growing season is short and intense there. Wildflowers stood on the sides of roads. Practically every house  had a charming garden bursting with colorful blooms. We visited several organic farms, one operated on the honor system. We chose our  fresh picked corn, tomatoes and green beens for dinner and left some cash in the box.   New England left an impression on me and hope to go back some day.  When I got home my husband, Todd, had built an 8×4 foot long frame for me. The largest he had ever made! I knew exactly what I was going to paint. Here are my inspiration pictures. The bottom photograph was taken mid-way before glazing and finishing touches.
